Appraisals for Family Law:
Couples will find that a fair, unbiased, and objective appraisal is vital to the process of moving forward to a constructive settlement and distribution of assets.
These appraisal services are often called upon in Collaborative Family Law situations- where both parties agree on an independent,party to conduct the evaluation of the ‘matrimonial home’.
In the work leading up to our appraised value of the property, it is clearly understood by all parties that there will be no discussion of value or value direction, until the report has been submitted to all parties.
All of our work is completely objective and confidential.
In addition, we are also called upon to act as the ‘third appraiser’ when there is a significant disagreement between the 2 previous appraisals. Again, all work is objective and the results of previous evaluations are not considered.
Obtaining fair market evaluations of respective real estate assets establishes a value benchmark of the property or properties involved.
